Minutes of Meeting
October 23, 2012
Members present: Mike Paveglio, Richard DeBold
Others present for all or part of the meeting: Nancy Tanner (Town Administrator), Joe Austin, Donna Chagnon, Lucille Noel, Thomas Houle, Doug Hall
Chairman Paveglio opened the meeting at 7:00pm.
Joe Austin
Mr. Austin came in to discuss his tax payment agreement with the Town. He asked for changes to the agreement regarding insurance and staying current on subsequent tax bills. Nancy will send the revised draft for legal review.
Other Business
Audit Contract: The Town received three bids for 2012 – 2014 auditing services.
Plodzik & Sanderson: 3 year total $36,000
Graham & Graham: 3 year total $60,250
Roberts & Greene: 3 year total $29,550
Mr. DeBold made a motion seconded by Mr. Paveglio to award the auditing contact for the years 2012 -2014 to Roberts and Green; $9,700 for 2012, $9,850.00 for 2013, $10,000 for 2014. Motion passed.
Election: Mr. Hall reminded the Selectmen that two of them are needed during the election. He also asked for police presence all day. Nancy will send an email to the Chief. Mr. Hall reviewed the voting procedures. A large voter turnout is expected.
Historical Society: Lucille Noel will let the Historical Society know about meeting with the Selectmen on November 13 to discuss the inspection report. Nancy will provide them with a copy of the report.
A motion by Mr. DeBold and seconded by Mr. Paveglio to adjourn the meeting at 7:40. Motion passes.
